Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale
By placing an order using any of the available methods, the customer declares that they have read and fully accepted the general terms and conditions set out on this website.
2. Products
The images accompanying the product description pages may not be perfectly representative and may differ in color and size.
All information provided to support the purchase is intended solely as general information and does not refer to the actual characteristics of an individual product.
3. Prices and availability
Prices are stated excluding VAT and are subject to change without prior notice; in any case, they will be communicated before the goods are shipped.
In particular, imported items may be subject to price changes due to foreign currency exchange rate fluctuations in the countries of origin, as well as technical changes in design and operation.
Items in stock will be shipped within 48 business hours after receipt of payment; otherwise, you will be promptly informed. Items not in stock will be shipped within 7 business days after receipt of payment; otherwise, you will be promptly informed.
4. Orders
Depending on the payment method and means of transport, a minimum order value may apply; this is defined in the cart before order confirmation.
If an order is placed for an amount lower than the established minimum, a flat fee to cover handling costs will be charged on the invoice; this amount is indicated in the cart before order confirmation.
5. Complaints / Claims
Any complaint or claim must be promptly notified within 3 days of receipt of the goods by certified email (PEC) to fondazionecarnevaleacireale@legalmail.it

Returns are accepted only in the event of defective goods or shipping errors, and any return must be made only after written authorization from us; in any case, it must take place within 8 days (in accordance with statutory deadlines).
Upon return of the goods, they will be inspected and, if an actual manufacturing defect is found, the customer will be entitled to replacement of only the defective or non-compliant products.
No damages or compensation may be claimed for errors; only replacement or refund of the non-compliant goods will be provided.
Shipping costs required for the replacement of products, in the event of a confirmed defect, will be borne by us.
For any returns exceptionally accepted due to customer error, a charge equal to 20% of the value of the goods (with a minimum of €20.00) will be applied to cover warehouse and administrative costs.
6. Transport
The goods travel at the recipient’s risk and expense unless insured.
Upon delivery by the courier, the customer must check:
– that the number of packages delivered matches what is stated on the transport document and the weight;
– that the packaging is intact, not damaged, wet, or otherwise altered, including sealing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).
Any damage to the packaging and/or the product, or any discrepancy in the number of packages or details, must be immediately reported by making a WRITTEN RESERVATION FOR INSPECTION on the courier’s delivery receipt.
If a courier contracted by us is used, you must also notify us immediately, within 3 days of receipt of the goods, by PEC to fondazionecarnevaleacireale@legalmail.it

Once the courier’s document has been signed, the customer may not raise any objections regarding the external condition of the delivered goods.
If full recovery of damages is required, insured shipping must be requested before shipment; this will be subject to rates different from the standard ones.
7. Payments
Payment may be made using the methods available in the cart. Loyal customers may request customized payment terms.
8. Retention of title
The delivered goods remain the property of FONDAZIONE CARNEVALE DI ACIREALE until full payment of all amounts due has been received.
9. Jurisdiction
In the event of any dispute, including those relating to the interpretation and/or performance of the contract and its general and special terms of sale, exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the Court of Catania, where the seller’s registered office is located, regardless of the agreed payment method.
